Lydney Skiff Project – The Start
The Lydney Skiff Project is being founded to inspire volunteers, to raise the funds to buy the Skiff kit, to build the Skiff and to row and perhaps compete with the large number of other Skiffs that are now in existence in the UK.
The Skiff pictured is the Edward Colston built by a team in Bristol during a recent visit to the yacht club in Lydney.
Meeting 14th April 19:30: there is a meeting on the 14th April at 19:30 for a talk by Alec Jordan, the initiator of the St Ayle’s skiff on the History of the Skiff. The meeting is at Lydney Yacht Club and all are welcome. There will be a question and answer session and we will talk about how to take the Lydney skiff project forward.
